We are getting married!

We are so excited to welcome you in the small town of Moura, Portugal for a weekend full of love, laughter, and celebration. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you!

The festivities will take place on Friday 07.05.2027 and Saturday 08.05.2027.

Moura is wonderfully remote, so we recommend sorting your travel and stay sooner rather than later.

Vale Do Manantio

There are places you visit, and places that somehow stay with you.
Ulysse first discovered Vale do Manantio many years ago. Later, while living in Lisbon, he would often spend his weekends there, drawn to the silence, the landscapes, the hunting grounds, and the soul of the Alentejo.

A few years later, Marie-Désirée came for a hunting weekend and immediately fell in love with the place too.

Choosing it as wedding location felt completely natural.
We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to bring together the people we love and begin our new chapter.

The Wedding

Friday, 7 May 2027

Our wedding will take place on Friday afternoon. We recommend spending the morning exploring the beautiful Alentejo region at your own pace.

Our ceremony will start at 16:00 at Igreja Matriz de São João Baptista church, followed by the rest of the celebrations at Vale Do Manantio.

We will end the weekend with a relaxed lunch and pool day from 12:00 onwards. One last moment to unwind, enjoy each other’s company, and close this unforgettable celebration in true Alentejo style.

Friday, 7 May 2027

Our ceremony will take place on Friday afternoon at the Igreja Matriz de São João Baptista church in the town of Moura, followed by the rest of the celebrations in Vale Do Manantio estate.

Specific timings will follow closer to the wedding date.

The Day After

Saturday, 8 May 2027

Expect an afternoon of good vibes and dancing in the garden and at the pool, kicking off with a lunch in the sunshine. Don't forget your swimwear (weather permitting).

Transportation

The closest airports are Lisbon (2h20 drive, 207 km) and Faro (2h15 drive, 198 km). We recommend renting a car to make the most of your time in the Alentejo.

A helicopter transfer from Lisbon is also possible. Enquire through Ulysse ;)
Multiple flights a day from Brussels, Paris and Charleroi to both Lisbon and Faro.
